Call for Application: PhD Students at the Graduate School „Science and Society“

The Graduate School of the interdisciplinary Leibniz Center Science and Society (LCSS) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2018-21 PhD Scholarship scheme (starting October 1st, 2018). We are seeking candidates from the following disciplines: economics, political science, sociology, law, and philosophy.

Candidates should be interested in research questions related to Science Studies or Higher Education Research. Theoretical and application-oriented research questions are welcome that use either qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or both. The Graduate School is cooperating closely with the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW). Thesis projects using DZHW data or cooperating with ongoing projects will be supported by the DZHW. The LCSS Graduate School invites interested candidates to apply for one of six funded PhD positions (E13 65% for 36 months).
