Rachid Laajouzi studied communications engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, with a focus on digital signal processing, and graduated as an engineer. In the framework of his professional activities of the last 25 years as an IT architect, IT system developer and IT consultant, Rachid Laajouzi has managed science-based IT infrastructure projects at the interface between informatics and other disciplines.
Rachid Laajouzi has been employed at DZHW since March 2017 and has played a leading role in various projects. His core tasks are the conception, implementation and realisation of IT systems/infrastructures in the field of higher education and science research for a heterogeneous group of users (e.g., for ministries, universities, science and other stakeholders).
Since November 2019, Rachid Laajouzi has been manager of the project "Higher Education Analytical Data System" (HEADS) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
