As part of "Wissenschaft weltoffen" an annual report with overview graphs and tables with commentaries as well as an internet presence with numerous detailed in-depth tables is developed. In addition, the DZHW maintains a service point (hotline), which advises interested parties in the design of their own evaluation ideas and also carries them out.
Current statistical data and information on international students and university graduates in Germany, German students abroad, stays in Germany by international researchers and structures of internationalization at German universities are reported in "Wissenschaft weltoffen". The database is made up of information from official statistics, surveys by the OECD, OECD, EU and various funding organizations, especially the DAAD, as well as scientific studies.
