The Ministry for Innovation, Science, Research and Technology of North Rhine-Westphalia (MIWFT) aims to make the Analytical Framework for HEIs 2020 an ongoing project. It has commissioned the DZHW to support it in ensuring the continuation of the Analytical Framework.
The purpose of the Analytical Framework 2020 is to annually present significant performance parameters in North Rhine-Westphalian HEIs in the fields of teaching and research, relating them comparatively by subject and presenting them in concentrated form. The Analytical Framework can help support profile-forming processes in the context of target agreements and performance agreements, for example. As part of the work on the project, the graphs necessary for the NRW portfolio will be developed as a service and prepared for internet access; a new internet portal will be available for this purpose from June 2016. The DZHW has expanded the graph evaluation concept and further developed it to enable chronological comparisons to be made. The agreed project period runs until 15 June 2020.
